October is National Chiropractic Health Month?
This year’s theme is “Active and Adaptive” and we are so excited to be celebrating it! Will you join us in celebration?
After month’s of COVID-19 restrictions and shelter-in-place orders, many people have began practicing lifestyle changes that may not be the best for our body’s movement: from avoiding public areas and working from home, to choosing car trips instead of air travel, ordering food and supplies online, and avoiding gyms and other enclosed interior spaces where people gather… big changes that have left us moving far less than we used to.
One thing that I wanted to do to celebrate this month is to share resources related to chiropractic care, from stretching to posture because we want your body to feel good!
Check out the newest page on my website that shares resources for your back and neck, specifically video resources to help you, at least until you are able to come in and get adjusted.
In the spirit of National Chiropractic Health Month, I want to share some tips for you to do, before you come in for an adjustment.
- Compile a list of any medications you may be taking (including the dosage)
- Think about and jot down any healthcare issues or concerns you may be currently experiencing or facing that you’d like to address
- Wear a comfortable outfit
- Breathe. Adjustments do not hurt and after one, you may feel so good you’ll probably wonder why you waited so long.
