Take some time to de-stress, with these stress relieving tips

Are you feeling stressed about our current situation? From the continuous news stream, to the fact that many of us are not moving as much as we are used to, many of us are on edge. Which is exactly why I want to share a few ways to reduce stress.

Take a walk.

Exercise is a great way to burn off any excess anxious energy.

Aromatherapy.

There is nothing like smelling a soothing oil to help you reduce your stress.

Read a book.

Take a break and rest with a good book! Snuggle up on the couch with your animals or a soft blanket and read the book you’ve been putting off.

Meditation or some quiet time.

The amount of time we may be spending on our phones or watching the television may be taking a toll on your eyes, without you realizing it. Take some space with some quiet time. If you’d like to try meditation, check out the HeadSpace app.

Consider some supplements.

There are quite a few supplements out there that can be helpful for stress management. Give us a call, Dr. Roth is available to set up an appointment with you to help with nutritional recommendations.

Cook a meal.

Take some time to cook some fresh food with your family. Like we say, you are what you eat, and nutritional wellness is a direct reflection of this.

Stay safe and healthy and feel free to reach out to our team if you need to make an appointment.
